About The Course
The I Read series by Dr. Hosni Qandil consists of 15 parts designed to provide gradual training in reading Arabic with short vowels, long vowels, and tanween (nunation). The series uses simple, everyday vocabulary supported by clear illustrative images.
The series is suitable for both children and adults, whether native Arabic speakers or learners of Arabic as a foreign language.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, learners will be able to read simple words with diacritics correctly and will have acquired useful new vocabulary for daily life.
How to Make the Most of This Course
- Watch the video, then mute the sound and try reading aloud.
- Read the text first, then listen to the video to check your pronunciation.
- Practice writing the words they hear in the video. Practice book
- Try spelling or writing additional words in the same pattern.
- Play a game such as finding words that contain a specific sound, such as fatḥa.
- Practice vocabulary through acting out the words from the video.
- Discover more words by changing some letters and exploring their meanings.
