About the Series

This series includes 10 children’s stories, arranged in order of difficulty from easiest to more advanced. The stories are told by animal characters, each ending with a moral lesson and featuring a rich selection of Arabic vocabulary to help learners expand their word bank.
Each story comes with comprehension and language production exercises.
The stories are adapted from the Animals in Stories series by Dar Maktabat Al-Ma’arif.

Series Goals

By the end of this series, learners will be able to read simple Arabic stories with ease, gain a solid foundation of formal Arabic vocabulary, and become familiar with educational stories and moral lessons they can apply in daily life.

How to Use the Series
  1. Try watching the video without sound first (pictures only) and read the story by yourself, using a timer to record how long it takes.

  2. Summarize what you understood from the story.

  3. Watch the video again and listen carefully to the pronunciation and explanation.

  4. Replay the video, read each page aloud, then listen to check and correct your reading.

  5. Watch the video silently again, read aloud while timing yourself, and notice your progress and fluency.

  6. Answer the comprehension questions.

  7. Discuss the story’s ideas and events with your teacher or a friend. What did you like or find interesting?

  8. Create an alternative ending or change the story events to make it more engaging.

  9. Write a short summary using the new vocabulary and the moral of the story.

  10. Record your voice reading the story and share it with us.

  11. Perform the story in a school event or Arabic activity. Tell it aloud with expression and confidence!

  12. Use pictures, toys, or imaginary characters to act out the story.

  13. You can also record stories for visually impaired children using your expressive voice, a beautiful way to share goodness and make a difference.
